Vincent Laforet:

Project Description

The artist of the Week is Vincent Laforet.

About Vincent Laforet – Vincent began his photography career in 1990 at the age of 15, working with The Los Angeles Times and Reuters as a photojournalist. By the time he was 25, he had established himself as the youngest photographer on staff for The New York Times where he achieved a Pulitzer for feature photography.

Vincent is all about composition and setting up the shot. He is known for his aerial photography and his tilt-shift compositions. His use of the elements and principles of art and design are exaggeratingly evident in all of his work. His approach to image-making and storytelling shows his forward-thinking craftsmanship, both technically and artistically.

You can visit his portfolio website at http://www.laforetvisuals.com/.
