Tutorial: Changing Eye Color in Photoshop

In this tutorial, you will learn how to change the color of the eyes using Photoshop CC 2014 on a Mac computer.

Here’s the before:

(Note the difference between the eye colors.)

Start with a portrait, meaning that the picture has a person (who has eyes) in it. Using the zoom tool, zoom in on the eyes.

Choose a selection tool. I like to use the Magnetic Lasso Tool, but you can choose the one you like the most.

Select one eye, hold down Shift and select the other eye. Then, hold down Option and select the pupil of each eye.

Add a Hue/Saturation Adjustment Layer.

Check the box next to Colorize. Then choose the color you want the eyes to be. Use the Saturation and Lightness sliders to adjust the hardness of the color.

I chose green and changed the saturation and lightness.

After you have adjusted the colors as much as you want, you are done!
