About Klaus Leontjew

Klaus Leontjew is a photographer currently based in Oldenburg, Germany.

Photographs without people seem mainly senseless to me. I know that’s a personal thing and there are awesome architecture and landscape photographers, but they are just not comparable with people photography. They rarely impress me. Klaus Leontjew managed to do that. Although he does have a few people in his shots, they are definitely not the focus of his images. Clean and pure, he has an eye for the right scenery and especially for the right framing. I’m glad to introduce a German photographer for once and if you are interested in more, you should really visit his flickr account. Architecture, open space and bright colors all add up to a perfect image. It really changed my mind on the whole photos without people case.
